Facilities at the Department of Archaeology and Heritage Management

Resource Room

Our department houses a specialized resource room that serves as a hub for academic materials and references. It is equipped with a vast collection of books, journals, and other resources related to archaeology and heritage management. Students have access to these materials to enhance their research and deepen their knowledge in the field.

Analysis Laboratory

We have a well-equipped analysis laboratory that allows students to engage in practical research and analysis. This facility is designed to provide hands-on experience in various archaeological techniques, such as artifact analysis, soil analysis, dating methods, and conservation practices. Students can apply theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world scenarios and develop essential analytical skills.

Masters and PhD Student Rooms

We understand the importance of providing a conducive learning environment for our postgraduate students. To support their research and academic pursuits, we have dedicated rooms specifically designed for Masters and PhD students. These rooms offer a quiet and focused space where students can work on their theses, conduct research, and collaborate with fellow students

Through field trips, practical exercises, and research opportunities, students have the chance to apply their knowledge and gain valuable hands-on experience. We also encourage students to participate in archaeological excavations and conservation projects, both locally and internationally, to further enhance their skills and understanding of the discipline. At the Department of Archaeology and Heritage Management, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of archaeologists and heritage professionals. We believe in the importance of preserving our cultural heritage and understanding the past to inform the present and shape the future. Join us on this exciting journey of exploration, discovery, and preservation!
