The Organizing Committee for the Humanities Conference 2023, which will take place at the University of Dar es Salaam from 13-15 September 2023, is happy to announce that the preliminary programme is now available and it is attached to this email.
If you are a presenter at the conference and you see any omissions or mistakes in the programme draft, kindly write to us at udsmhumanities@gmail.com and we will make corrections for the final programme.
The Organizing Committee has extended the submission of full articles to 30th July 2023. All articles should be submitted in MS Word document.
We advise all authors to use the APA seventh edition publication manual for the articles.

The registration fee is $50 for East Africans and $100 for Non-East Africans. Alternatively, on the first day of the conference, there will be an option to pay at the conference venue using a VISA card or deposit cash at the CRDB bank located close to the conference venue.
If it is your first time to be in Tanzania, maybe you need to know that cash is used for most of the services in the country. Therefore, you might think of bringing enough cash for you (USD). You can also withdraw cash at ATMs or swipe at some shops or hotels.
To get to the University of Dar es Salaam, depending on where your hotel is, you can take a normal taxi, Uber or Bolt anywhere in the city and ask the driver to drop you at the Main Library of the University of Dar es Salaam, Mlimani Campus. It must be a car since motorcycles and tricycles have limited access to campus.
