Godfrey Johanes Michael is an Assistant Lecturer at the department of Literature, College of Humanities, University of Dar es Salaam. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with Education (Literature and Linguistics) and a Master of Arts with Education (Literature) both from the University of Dar es Salaam. He teaches Literature in English: Literary devices/rhetoric studies, Literature and the Art of Writing, Literature and The Negritude Movement, Literature and society and Publishing. His research interests are Publishing studies and Gender studies. His recent publication is titled "The Impact of Western Values on African Women in Sitwala Imenda's Unmarried Wife (2022)".
