Frank is a historian of technology, transport and urbanisation based at University of Dar es Salaam. He has written and published on Public Works Department in Dar es Salaam; flooding; drainage and traffic infrastructures; witchcraft and the restitution of Chief Mkwawa skull of Uhehe. Welcomes collaborations and research projects on social histories of cycling, railways, and sanitation in the Global South.
