Introduction

The Bachelor of Arts in History, Cultural Heritage Management and Tourism is a three-year programme that aims to bring historical consciousness to the centre of cultural heritage and tourism thinking and practice.


Objectives of the Programme

At the end of the programme, graduates shall be able to: a.Develop a broad and comparative knowledge of the general scope of the subject of history, cultural heritage and tour management. b.Understand how history can be applied in cultural heritage and tourism to produce national histories that foster pride, identity, and traumatic experiences. c.Produce historical narratives from cultural heritage and tourism that underscores national histories, identities, and trauma, and market cultural heritage and tourism for national foreign exchange. d.Promote national memories, culture, identity, pride and articulate ways of dealing with memory, remembrance and trauma.
